Roof & Wall Cladding Specialists

October - December 2015

The final quarter of the year has seen a good finish for projects that we have been successfully awarded.

We have negotiated the first phase of a new build School at Q3 Langley Academy in Birmingham, which starts on site in the New Year.  This project has around 3,000sq metres of Kingspan Topdeck panel on the roof and 1,750 sq. metres of Kingspan composite wall panels.

We have also negotiated work on the final phase at Battery Retail Park in Birmingham, following on from previous work done on the new Homebase unit.  This phase involves the extension of an existing unit installing Kingspan Low Pitch panel and new composite Micro Rib panels on the wall, totalling around 1,700 sq. metres on the project.  The initial roofing works have commenced with cladding being completed in the New Year.

There is a new build unit for Holland & Barret in Nuneaton that we have secured, comprising of around 2,000 sq. metres of composite wall panels to a 15 metre high new office unit.  Works don’t start until the summer so something to look forward too.  We have also secured another phase at Mulbry Park in Telford, following on from works we did several years ago.  The new build unit comprises of around 2,000 sq. metre built-up roofing and 1,300 sq. metres of built-up and composite cladding panels.

Work has started on the new WMG testing facility at University of Warwick.  The Kingspan 150mm core panels have been installed on the roof and the 1,350 sq. metres of Benchmark Evolution Recess and Karrier panels have been completed before the Christmas break.  The 600 sq. metres of ACM cassette panels are due for delivery and installation in the New Year.

The project at Kilo is almost complete using Tata composite panels totalling around 3,200 sq. metres to a 14 metre new build storage facility for Kilo Ltd.  Work is also now underway for Thorne Ltd on their new storage facility in Oldbury.  A new extension and refurbishment on the existing building, has provided around 4,500 sq. metres of new composite panel in Tata Trisomet, with HPS200 Ultra Sargasso blue panels being used on the wall cladding.

All in all a busy spell and good end to the year and identifying just a few of the projects we are currently working on.
